You let me fall to you closely

You ruffled my hair and you patted my shoulder

You left your arm around my shoulders

You gave me your one dimpled grin

You caught my gaze and stared back

I could feel your breathing

I could smell your cologne

My heart was racing

And I tried to control it

Hoping it wouldn’t show

This night

This night cannot get any better. I was listening to “At last I see the light” from Tangled and all of a sudden my phone vibrates and I’m thinking, “Great what does he want”, referring to my best friend who has been very suffocating lately and I’m not happy with it (he’s texted me and/or called me asking why I’m avoiding him even though my phone has been dead and charging). Well I picked up my phone and to my surprise regardless that it is 11 at night, it’s from Kieran. He wanted to say that he was glad I’m home and said we should have some fun this summer. I am so excited to see him and it made it even better that he texted me during this song since this is what I hear in my head every time I think of him. I’m loving my life right now and I never want this feeling to stop. Everything feels different now and I, for all I know, could have rose colored glasses on but I am seeing in ways I haven’t for such a long time. Just wanted to share my little pocket of sunshine. Sleep well followers <3
